Weird glitchy sims

Hi yes hello,

after a long day of work i'd like to unwind and play the new pack but then i realize the sims is on its umpteeth update.... 🙃🙃I do the smart thing and remove my mods from the sims folder before updating. I open my game and my sims have this weird glitchy black overlay. Yes I'm aware its a faulty mod. Is there an easier way to pinpoint it cause I'm sorry I've got too many folders of mods to do the 50/50 method and for some reason inn the preview they look fine but in the game they start glitching out. 

I also tried simtray importer cause thats the usual way i pinpoint it but its stopped working on me. I even tried sims 4 mod manager but it doesnt really help much. anywho if theres an easy way to pinpoint the fault mod I'd love to know.
