There’s such a wide variety of things available! Do you have anything specific you’re looking for - more clothes, more furniture, more gameplay?
Personally, I love Littlbowbub’s Grannies Cookbook, with the delivery service and vending machines. Her Olde Cookbook Kit can also be a lot of fun.
I also use a bunch of Pandasama’s mods to add activities for kids. And several of LittleMsSam’s tweaks, including choose leftovers (currently broken due to a game bug - definitely going to miss that), buy a better mattress, and subject homework (originally by scarlet).
Then there’s the various added aspirations and events and careers that people make - all a bit touchier and more likely to break with each major patch, but a lot of fun if you’re willing to do the work to maintain them. I personally like ilkavelle’s mods for these.
Then of course there’s cc CAS items - much less likely to break than script mods (though not impossible). I tend to get a lot of toddler, child, and adult male CC. And the hairs! So many cool hairs out there.
If you’re just getting started, you might want to try Curseforge. That’s the official - though by no means the only - platform for modders to share mods and cc on.
Edit to add: If you go on a downloading spree, I would also recommend TwistedMexi’s ModGuard. There have been recent issues:

I'm looking for some safe websites to download
-recipes
-clothing
-any thing that adds new gameplay. ^_^
@graceymanors If you want to start on CurseForge, I believe all of the modders I mentioned above have at least some of their mods available there.
- graceymanors2 years agoLegend@PipMenace And all the mods on there are malware free? ^_^ Just cautious as I heard about that.
@graceymanors You should always be careful downloading mods from anywhere - but CurseForge has added additional screening for the type of malware that was recently causing problems. Thanks. I'm just fairly new to Sims 4 and I'm not familiar with well known creators yet.

- Moozilla132 years agoSeasoned Ace@graceymanors Yeah, MCCC was the very first mod I downloaded and now I can't imagine playing without it. If you're interested in adding some more dimension to relationships in your gameplay, I'm always quick to recommend Turbodriver's Wonderful Whims, and/or the RPO collection from Lumpinou. If you're into the everyday life nitty gritty, SimRealist and Lot51 have some great mods to add realism. And if you're looking for a wide selection to choose from to pick and choose, I can't sing enough praises about KiaraSims, LittleMsSam, and Bienchen. All three are well-known modders with their own sites that you can safely download from 🙂 But I second what was mentioned by @PipMenace -- if you're planning to get a lot of mods, even from legitimate sources like Curseforge, I highly recommend TwistedMexi's ModGuard. Better safe than sorry, and the peace of mind is worth it!
- Moozilla132 years agoSeasoned Ace@graceymanors Also for recipes, in addition to anything by LittleBowBub (mentioned above), I'm also a fan of BrazenLotus. Lots of recipes and ingredients, along with options to add gameplay that works well for historical challenges, if that's ever your thing.
