when i try and activate cheats, the box stays blank.

I can access the cheat box but when i type "testingcheats true" nothing shows in the box, the text disappears as if it submitted it but nothing happens, even when i try and use a cheat after, it doesn't work. 

i use cc, a lot of it, I've tried individually removing cc folders to see if it was specific cc which didn't work, i tried even moving the entire mods folder onto my desktop and that didn't work either, I've cleared the cache, i cant figure out anything.
