- Hello.
You need to place the house files into your Tray Folder that is in your Sims 4 folder. Then, the house will show up in your "My Library" section of the Gallery. You will need to have the "include CC content" ticked in the Advanced section of the filter area in the Gallery for your CC house to show up. "QueenOfArkham;13650224" wrote:
I have personally done the tray thing and nothing ever shows up in my library via the gallery :( I cant figure out what I am doing wrong
I unzip and move the items in the file to the tray. I open up the gallery in build mode and nothing (with cc option turned on)
Hello @QueenOfArkhsm.
I am sorry that the homes are not showing up in your game. After unzipping the folder take the files out of the new folder and place them in the tray, rather than putting the new folder in the tray folder. You probably are doing that, but I just thought I would post in case it helps.- Also, I just wanted to say Welcome to the forums. :) You are invited to visit this thread and introduce yourself.
http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/817478/hello-come-and-introduce-yourself - A question. Does the CC come with the house if I download a house this way. So I don't have to download the cc separately, or?

The site you downloaded the house from should specify whether there is CC included, A lot of designers will include a "shopping list" if the CC isn't included. "carroeb;13536704" wrote:

Hello.
It depends on the house. Some simmers who create homes also include with the download a folder with CC package files in it. These package files are put into your mods folder.- ive tried it two different ways
the first way was how you said; i unzipped the file and manually moved the items into the Tray folder. then i read on TSR, to extract directly to the tray file lol. Do I need scripts turned on? I wanted to turn them on but got a warning about how my game will crash, etc - nvmmmm I found my mistake. I did NOT have cc enabled in the gallery. i have cc enabled for CAS lol yay I am excited
- 5 years late, but i cannot access any houses ive downloaded. i also do not have a community tab, how to get those things?
