Why did the August 30th update disable the gameplay, environment, and pack settings when using mods?

Gameplay, aging, Environment, and Pack Settings apparently only appear when mods are disabled which was a bad move from EA. Lots of players use mods on The Sims 4 mainly more fun in general in combination with fixing bugs. Especially if you are someone like me who owns lots of packs that may require mods to fix bugs that EA has refused to fix completely. Do not forget about the annoying autonomous toilet pranking as well from sims with the playful trait that can only be disabled with a mod for players like me who own Discover University.
