Why did the August 30th update disable the gameplay, environment, and pack settings when using mods?

Apparently, EA and the Sims Guru Team disabled these features for mod users, unless if not using any mods. But why? I have never seen this problem before, and it is a very big problem that conflicts w...

Stupid question. You renabled your mods right? When putting mods back in your game after an update, do a couple at a time. You may have a MOD that is causing this problem, and if so, you can narrow it down using the 50/50 method (putting 50% of mods back in, starting the game up, and making sure they all work.)
