Why does Sims 4 become unresponsive when I put more mods?

I don't have that many mods and I put little by little, but once I add more, it becomes unresponsive. I switch up the mods as well and it does the same thing. My mods are completely fine and work well. Once I updated another app it ended up becoming unresponsive and kept crashing. I've done 50/50 and thought I figured out the problem, but none of my mods are broken. I also have enough storage so the game shouldn't be crashing. I deleted the localthumbcache, I let the game create a new mods folder and uploaded them. Did a software update too. I don't know what the issue is. Would anyone be able to help? I have a MacBook Air, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

Right when I press the Sims app, it loads for a second as if it's gonna open, but then doesn't. It doesn't open or anything and says the app is unresponsive.

@CandyMiami Please do a "vanilla" test: Drag the Mods folder to the desktop, delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving.

@Emaanohalawani Likely a mod conflict is preventing opening. Check the mod installation info pages for listed conflicts. If you don't see any, instead of only doing a 50-50, try a gradual addition process.
