“Press Any Key to Start” Unresponsive to Keyboard (PS5)

Product: The Sims 4Platform:&nbsp;PlayStation 5Which language are you playing the game in?EnglishHow often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)What is your current game version number? 1.70What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.&nbsp;Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch the game, use mouse and keyboard controls.&nbsp;What happens when the bug occurs?&nbsp;“Press Any Key to Start” is unresponsive to anything other than a mouse click.&nbsp;What do you expect to see? I should be able to press any key.&nbsp;Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Nope. Not available for console.&nbsp;Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Not the system, bug started after the last Sims 4 update.&nbsp;It won’t let me attach my video file so I have uploaded the bug to YouTube:&nbsp;https://youtu.be/5XgOPKh0Y6o

Hey there&nbsp;@victheterror,

Let's try a full power cycle on your console-&nbsp;try shutting down your console by pressing the power button on the front for at least 7 seconds until it beeps and powers off. Wait until the light bar stops flashing before turning it on again.&nbsp;

If this doesn't resolve the issue, let's try an uninstall&nbsp;and reinstall as well. Please keep me posted on how this works for you!&nbsp;

Thanks for checking! Is your mouse and keyboard unresponsive throughout the rest of the game, or are you only seeing this with the keyboard on the start screen?

We're currently tracking a similar issue with mouse and keyboard for console&nbsp;here so I want to be sure this isn't the same issue you're having.&nbsp;

Mouse and keyboard are fine and responsive everywhere else in the game! It’s just on that first “Press Any Key to Start” screen that it won’t accept anything other than a mouse click (:
