Action Menu/Needs Menu Freezing

Whenever I play for more than a few minutes and then click (for example) the fridge to cook something, or click on my needs list, the menu freezes up and won't let me exit it. I can move around to the different options but it won't let me click on anything, exit the menu, or even pause the game to save it before I exit. On PS5
