Can't get into the sims 4 on console

Did you only remove lot challenges/ calendar events on the save you are currently playing the reaper event on or all of your saves with lot challenges?

@RheaFallout I'm only running 2 saves and 1 is a backup. I find my game runs more efficiently that way, even though my Xbox Series X is super powerful I've had so many tech issues (that's how I ended up here) that I'm very careful now with my game storage. So it's just the one save to worry about.
It was actually the Lottery Event and a key holder arriving for a friend's hangout coinciding with the Reaper Event starting that made my Xbox Series X go all weird. So it seems to be any type of event at the same time. I literally ticked off the minutes before it started this week and made sure nothing else was going on.

@simsplayer818 Only asked as I can't get my off the grid save to load, it doesn't even load to manage worlds so I can't turn off any that lot challenge on that save. It hasn't caused any conflict with my other saves thus far so fingers crossed it doesn't!
like you I only have a few saves, a couple of months ago I deleted all but three of my saves to keep sims running smoother and it really really helped with lag and freezing in game.
My reapers save only has scare seeker lot so I'll make sure to take that off and see what happens Tuesday after 5pm (I'm in the UK too) 🙂

@RheaFallout The off grid lots are supposed to be fixed since the new patch this week. Have you tried loading it since updating your game? If it's still broken for you we might need to report that.

@simsplayer818 honestly I haven't tried to load that save since before my X button issue, the patch notes mentioned a fix for For Rent on lot challenges on downloaded lots from gallery, I don't own for rent so wasn't sure if this applied to me and I'm scared to try to load that file again, it was also the save I was playing when my whole sims application got corrupted and needed a full reinstall. Sort of caught between a rock and a hard place with that save

@RheaFallout Ok, if you do find that that it's still a problem for you just pop back and let us know. You know, I have had problems with Gallery lots actually and I got error codes that affected my saves so I wonder if a Gallery lot may have been a factor here too. I became overly cautious after that and now I upload my own creations but I stopped downloading them, which is a bit drastic I know. But I didn't want to go through that again.
So if you need to start a new save you could always try avoiding them and see if you have an easier time. I even turned off Gallery Sims on Cupid's Corner too.

@simsplayer818 Sorry I should've put that I don't use gallery too. I normally play with online features turned off as an anti lag measure (which is quite a long list of measures as a console user lol) apart from now because of the reaper event it's turned on. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who's over cautious with things on the sims, it can be a nerve wracking experience sometimes.
