Cas is unusable

I decided to start fresh today after not playing for a couple weeks. I found that in cas I'm unable to rotate my sims, I'm struggling to look through clothing, hair styles etc as it isn't registering my scroll through items and general issues such as the amount of time selections are taking.

I have used a different controller, hard reset the game and I'm currently uninstalling and reinstalling my games, although I'm not hopeful this will work.

Is this a new bug with the recent updates and has a work around been found for this?
