When this happens are you able to toggle out of cinematic mode and interact with the notifications using the normal camera mode?

Sometimes i am able to save and go back to main-menu. Very, very rare : it works as it should = the cinematic-mode ends automatically and i am able to interact with the 'notifications'. Mostly it looks like the game paused : all over the screen is a translucent blue (?) layer ... i see the curser, but i am not able to "reach"/"touch" UI-signs to control the game [ and nothing else works ! ]. ... so i am forced to end the game. (without saving !)
