Control Panel Disappearing + White Home Screen

I'm not sure if this is an issue with my xbox or the sims itself but it started around the same time as holiday rewards and has made my game almost unplayable.

Every time I open my save, I can play for a few minutes until the control panel completely disappears. It usually only happens when I go into CAS, build mode, or travel to any lot. I've pressed every button in order to try and get it back and nothing has seemed to solve it. Usually I end up just saving the game and exiting out, but occasionally I can't even do that. I once aged up my sim, the panel disappeared and I couldn't even save and exit the game. I ended up having to completely shut down my xbox in order to get out of it, which made me lose about two days in game.

Another issue I'm seeming to have is, once Im able to save and exit to the main menu, the menu is just a white screen. This could be an issue with just my xbox, but none of the other games I own are having bugs.

  • @Lyysithea check that your game and console are both up to date, there's info included in the attached troubleshooting steps for you here:

I'd also uninstall and reinstall your game and then do a data sync to sync up with the cloud again. So, clear your locally saved data and sync up with the cloud again by selecting Sims 4 on your console home screen using the menu button (3 lines) go to Manage Game and Add-ons>Saved Data. You'll see 2 sets of data, pick the set next to your gamertag/username and select delete from console only (this step should be carried out while the game is not running). Then immediately load up your game and it will sync up with the cloud and retrieve your data. This can help get your game working again.
