The game worked fine after installing the free download version for several months until your two latest updates.
I understand you're adapting a computer game for several different consoles. When the PS5 came out I worried that code for the PS4 users would not be looked at as closely.
The game loads & the error occurs when it opens the splash window for the daily rewards. It is not my console.
I'm having this problem too. Have had the digital version of Sims 4 on my ps4 since 2020 and last Friday I got an error screen saying "Game application data is corrupted and I need to uninstall and reinstall application". Which I have never had on any other games on my console.
Game has been crashing constantly and really really bad lag since the free rewards were implemented.
At this point I'm too scared to re install the sims in case I loose everything and access to my 22 purchased add ons.
