Doctors and main page always freezing

Hi, this has been an ongoing issue for a while now, I can't complete task as a doctor in sims4. I cant deliver food to patients or treat patients. I also can't choose a house I want and its been at least 6 months or so, because when I do it freezes, and doesnt add windows it just slowly freezes. This is getting ridiculous, I pretty much do not even want to play anymore. I was excited to play tonight but my sim is a doctor and I can't move further in their doctor career if I can't do the task. Im so fed up with this. We spend hundreds and hundreds for these packs, we expect them to work. I have every expansion pack and every next level pack. But yet I still can't enjoy playing? I almost want my mo ey back and to get rid of this game.
