UPDATED ANSWER:
Just go to your top left home button "Venue Info"
Change your lot from "residential" or whatever the current lot is
"residential" changed to "generic" lot
This change, will now open a new folder in your "Objects by Function"
Scroll all the way down to the new folder "Generic Items"
This is where you'll find the elevators in ANY world you choose, just change the lot
