Error Code 0 - trying to save over an existing save deletes it

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Trying to overwrite an existing save gives Error Code 0 and deletes the save
What happens when the bug occurs? Trying to overwrite an existing save gives Error Code 0 and deletes the save. If I save to a new file it does work, but if I then try to overwrite this new file it gives the error and deletes it. Autosave also seems to be corrupted, when i go to the Load menu the autosave area is blank. First got this bug during a wedding event. I also noticed that a bunch of pictures taken at the event turned completely black (thankfully no other pics in the game seem effected). If I save to a new file, exit the game, delete the previous save files and then start playing things seem to work for a while, I can save over existing save file and Autosave shows a save, however after playing for a little while the error comes back. saving the game now seems to take a very long time
What do you expect to see? the game save correctly and not delete the save file

game crashed during a wedding event. tried to do the event again and save during it and this is when Error Code 0 first appeared. did not have a wedding cake set in the event.

Have tried deleting a bunch of stuff related to the wedding event, deleting stuff out of the library, even deleted a sim I had added to the household to take pics during the wedding event. PS5 has plenty of space (100+gb) so it is not a space issue. This is also the only save file. At this point the game is borderline unplayable, its a pain in the * to make a new save every time and delete the old saves; I'm worried its going to end up just deleting the saved file entirely and I'll lose all 1700hrs of gameplay up to this point.
