@Jenni-Hurl145Are you still experiencing this? Do you happen to use the gallery/have downloaded any ‘NoCC’ photos or builds that contain them to your library?
I've had this happen twice and both times I have used some NoCC such as painting from reference and taking photos (mostly for fame gain). I've started a new game and haven't used any of these actions yet.
- 6 years ago@Jenni-Hurl145 Ah, okay I see! This will be offset to some degree by the latest console update we just received that strengthened CC flagging, but basically those NoCC photos are massive although they don’t seem like they’d be (on average running into the megabytes while the most massive vanilla mansion packed with furniture will on average only be several hundred kilobytes). With the recent inclusion of the gallery many people excitedly downloaded several of them not realizing how they can surpass the games internal save limit, which then causes the game to malfunction.

This is ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable for such a costly game as Sims 4 is.
Today it happened to me for a 3rd time in a year. This time I did have some homes with paintings marked as no CC from gallery but previous two I haven’t because we had no gallery on consoles.
After fiddling for hours with restarts, cache clearing, rebuilding data base, trying to restore save files from cloud, going back to previous versions I figured nothing will work. Had to delete the game and reinstall everything. Again. And I won’t be surprised if it keeps crashing all day like it used to.
And just the idea of rebuilding all the worlds over again (which took months in a first place) is bringing me to tears.
Please do something about this EA, one should not vaste hundreds of dollars buying all the packs and spend countless hours rebuilding everything just to have it all lost in seconds 🙁
