Event Save Lost

I completed week one of the legacies event.

Saved it .. IMMEDIATELY realized I overwrote my LEGACY SAVE. I panicked.. exited the game. Recovered an old copy of my legacy save from last fall. whew awesome Then checked my event save and well my week one event progress is gone. my event save file had a date of last fall not today. Ugh lolof course my event progress is still there so I can’t redo week 1 of the event. but I’m concerned that I will no no longer be able to complete the next three event weeks as the Envoy is not in any of my save files. They are lost in some overwriting mishap. what can I do? anyone have a full copy of the Envoy household to add to my game? Would that even work for next week? up for any suggestions thanks!

    MamaRockit​ if the envoy doesn't appear when the next stage begins, you can start a new save to carry out the event tasks. I'm actually doing that myself because I didn't have the Willow Creek library in my game as I'd built a store on the lot. I'd completed some tasks with a Sim in my main save but now I've created a dedicated Events save, the tasks and progress carried over fine. So if you run into any problems that's what I would do.
