Hey all,

This issue was resolved in Patch 1.70.

Please be sure to fully close and update your game- if you're still having crashing issues once your game is fully updated, please create a new thread here so we can investigate further.

What additional information do you need? I provided a video showing it happen, an entire thread of people explaining that the same thing happened to them (a thread you closed as solved for some strange reason), and a description of the scenario as the original post to this thread. Please give me something specific that the team would need to know and I will do my best to provide it.

Edit: to answer your edit question: sometimes it does but that isn’t the only thing that causes the crash, seemingly it is whenever you’re trying to leave the home lot to travel somewhere else.

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? Sims 4
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All game packs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don’t know
What happens when the bug occurs? The does a hard reset when I go into built mode and try to save. Even when I’m offline.
What do you expect to see? Sometimes it will just hard reset even when I’m not in builder mode and just trying to save.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Which lots & in which world?

I play on PS4. This also happens to me in Windenburg for nearly every lot in the Olde Platz district. All residential lots have a chance of this happening but the Waterlock Redoubt is 100%. I reported this over a year ago & I've seen nothing about it since. Is this also your problem?

@Amalathea Olde Platz district lots seem to crash a lot for me too! I play on Xbox. I thought it was because of a gallery download, but I bulldozed the lot and started over and still crash on the lots in that neighborhood, both residential and community
