Hey all,

This issue was resolved in Patch 1.70.

Please be sure to fully close and update your game- if you're still having crashing issues once your game is fully updated, please create a new thread here so we can investigate further.

What additional information do you need? I provided a video showing it happen, an entire thread of people explaining that the same thing happened to them (a thread you closed as solved for some strange reason), and a description of the scenario as the original post to this thread. Please give me something specific that the team would need to know and I will do my best to provide it.

Edit: to answer your edit question: sometimes it does but that isn’t the only thing that causes the crash, seemingly it is whenever you’re trying to leave the home lot to travel somewhere else.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don’t know, if I’m playing it’ll crash after about 10min, if I travel it’ll crash, if I start a club meeting it’ll crash, if I go to modify is cas it’ll crash. Sometimes it crashes just at the start menu.
What happens when the bug occurs? I get returned to Xbox home page
What do you expect to see? To be play uninterrupted, to be able to travel, start a club meeting, modify my sims.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

This game is way to expensive to have all these issues. I own everything and I’ve never had a discount I’ve paid full price for everything. I should be able to play without it crashing. if I’m playing it’ll crash after about 10min, if I travel it’ll crash, if I start a club meeting it’ll crash, if I go to modify is cas it’ll crash. Sometimes it crashes just at the start menu. I tried to upload a video 3 times, it keeps saying file not supported. I’ve literally done everything, uninstalled and reinstalled(more than 5x), move console closer to my WiFi router, reset my Xbox and lost everything(3x), unplugged and plugged back in. NOTHING IS WORKING and every update seems to be for pc/Mac or PlayStation. I’m about to give up and say “F” it with the sims, because it’s always something, always some kind of error. With every new pack comes a whole new host of problems. I still can’t have a grill because my sims will consistently make de-stressing drink and the game cube still keeps multiplying and my sims will no longer do what I assign for more than a sec.
