Game corrupted when transferring PS4>PS5

I have finally bought a PS5 and transferred all my Sims 4 data across from my PS4 supposedly successfully (via LAN cable), only to find out on opening that it says game file corrupted, and the last save it has is from over 7 months ago. I then redownloaded it back on PS4 to try again, and now my PS4 save says the exact same thing, with the same incredibly old saves. It says all my DLCs are owned too but every time I open the broken old save, it says corrupted and that the game has been restored to the base pack. Even my gallery is up to date despite the save being super old, but has now deleted all DLC content from my sims pictures. They have no hair etc.

Has anybody ever had this issue and know how to restore recent saves?? If I REALLY have to, I guess I can restart something I’ve been playing since literally 2015 on my PS4 (will make me legitimately cry), but I REFUSE to lose all my DLCs, that’s hundreds of dollars 😡😭 Please send help!!!!

Check that your game and PS5 are up to date.
If yes, uninstall the game. Shut down the console.
Start the PS5 again, install the game including all DLC‘s. Then shut down the PS5 again and start it again after about two minutes.
Start the game. If the error still occurs, try a new save to check if the game is working properly.
