Game crashing prior to loading the Home Screen (Xbox Series X)

I’m having issues with trying to book up the Sims 4 on Xbox. You get to the ‘login in’ part (press any button), then you can pick a log in, but this instantly crashes when this tries to load after around 1/4 of the way in. 
This was working fine yesterday but seems to have a problem today (21st Jan 2026) 

I’ve tried a few trouble shooting already; doing a hard reset, playing offline/online, logging in with a different user (so cannot be a save file issue as the other user didn’t have one), removed all locally saved files, uninstalled the game and re-installed the game, ensured there was enough room on the console, nothing appears to be fixing the issue. Any ideas? 

I don’t have any mods (can’t get them on Xbox anyway) and I have the majority of the packs.
