Game keeps crashing ps4

Since I downloaded all the new updates and island living my game keeps crashing!!! I don't know what to do!! I paid 40$ for island living and waited patiently to play and now I can't..

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for your reports, we know this is not fun at all and the team is working on fixing this as soon as possible.

    In the meantime, I'm going to close this thread and ask you to go here if your game is crashing when building doors and/or windows: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/PS4-XB1-Game-crashes-when-building-doors/td-p/8027601. That way we can have a single discussion with all the information in the same place.

    If the game is crashing for you under different circumstances, please, open a new thread with as many details as possible: what are you doing when the game crashes? What troubleshooting have you tried so far? Did it start just after the last update?

@megsguitars2 Yeah i play it without building a house. Which is difficult because i like to give my sims a house with thier personality. So hopefully they fix this soon.

I found even more glitches. My Sim gets stuck in the bathroom. I have to go in buildmode and back to live for him to not be stuck. And the first kiss interaction is gone. My Sims has relationship high and no choice appears for kiss

    I fixed it. I uploaded all saves and add ons to playatation plus and deleted everything of sims 4 from ps4 hard drive then loaded game and it installed latest update properly without saying failed to install this time and my game has not crashed and I downloaded all data and add ons from playstation plus and now it works. NO CRASHING  thankyou.

      You think that would work for xbox? Have you tried build mode? With doors?

         I have built an entire house still it did not crash. Just remember to re download the add on stuff from the xbox store. You can try it and tell me if it works for you. I just want to help.

      @tigerrun777 I tired this and my game is still crashing. I can only add one or two doors before it crashes. Any other suggestions?

        Did you  upload all sims data to playstation plus then go to Console settings then storage then save data then delete all sims 4 data and user data for sims 4? Then did you turn off console when it is entiely off hold power button on console untill you hear 2 beeps then hold it for anothe 7 seconds then connect ps4 controller with USB cable then press PS button on controller then log in to your ps4 profile. Put sims 4 disc in load it it should install all updates then after game has finished installing press PS button on controller go to playstation plus and download all sims 4 saves and user data that you uploaded. Then go to playstation store go to purchases then on sims 4 game click it to open it then under the games icon you will see different options click  on Playstation Store option under games info under Trending In the store click on Game Icon like mine shows SIMS 4 and next to it will say ADD ONS click on this to show all add ons then click the arrow pointing down icon next to each one to download each one. Click PS button on controller to return to game and load up a game.  When playing it will say unable to load some items quickly close this item then save then exit to main menu. This message box comes up for the ADD ON content you are downloading. Do this each time it comes up now save befor exit to main menu to have your add ons installed.

      I did the delete everything and then redone load it, and it worked for me too. The only difference for me was that I couldn’t upload my game data to PlayStation plus, but it was worth losing it to get the game to work. I also have the one cheat enabled. So far no issue

        thats great. I did a 14 day free trial of playstation plus to upload all data then after my game was fixed I unsubscribe to plus.
