@TheChatrock I would try powercycling your console to see if that helps your loading issues. Instructions in the attached troubleshooting steps:
Your game version number can be found without opening the game, just select Sims 4 on your console home screen using the menu button (with 3 lines on it) and go to Manage Game and Add-ons. I'm attaching an image to show you where it is.
Viruses aren't something you can get through Sims 4 or through games in general really. You'd be more exposed to those by using Microsoft Edge on your console, there are a few issues with loading at the moment but yours sounds like something has possibly happened with the Reaper event.
Let us know how you get on.
Thanks for trying to help. I did the power down , it didn't help. I uninstalled and reinstalled my Sims 4. It didn't help. I reset XBox One to factory settings. It didn't help.
For those reasons I feel the Grimm Reaper event has a virus.
- simsplayer8181 year agoHero@TheChatrock With the Sims we call it a bug rather than a virus and there are some bugs with loading at the moment, your issue may be part of that same problem but let's look at a couple more troubleshooting steps. Have you tried completely disconnecting your console from your WiFi and reconnecting it again a couple of times? Since the Series S is an online console that can also cause added connection issues, I experienced that when I was running the game on Series S.
How much memory is free on your console?
