Island Living missing from PlayStation

Hello guys,

Never posted here before, but basically I brought 2 expansion packs on sims 4, one I brought last month and one I brought 8 months ago. I currently have a PS5 and ever since I downloaded the games on this console, one of the packs hasn't worked. I gave up trying to fix it.

Now a second pack I was using, which I only brought last month has the same issue. The neighbourhood shows as locked and I dont have any of the content, but when I click it, it says I already own the pack. I've logged out and back in again, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, started a new save, restored the licenses, checked for updates nothing has worked. When I go into owned packs, I can no longer see the one I brought just a month ago and I can't use it! I've attached some photos to hopefully help explain what I mean, but if anyone else has anything I can try please help :(

Hi all,

Please verify if you fully own Island Living, or if you've been accessing this pack from PS Plus. It looks like this pack was removed from the PS Plus catalog, you'd need to fully purchase the pack to continue playing.

If you have purchased this pack, please check your transaction history to verify that you're seeing the pack there, then try restoring your licenses.

If anyone else is having this issue I've just found through Google city living and island living have been deleted from the PS plus network

I found this post coming to write my own about the exact same issue.
If it is a bug / network issue my city living game has had this issue for at least a month. Today I've had the same issue with island living as well. If the issue has been around for as long as month I'm gonna be well sad to not be able to play my saves without losing the content related to the expansion packs
EDIT - I'VE JUST GOOGLED IT - Island living was removed from PS plus as of today and you can't play it on PS4 through the PS network anymore. I'm a bit annoyed that means I've lost it on PS5 as I only got it last month when I got the PS5. City living was removed in Nov 2024

im not on ps5, on ps4, but ive had the same problem just today, except that ive bought two packs with ps plus which was island living and city living. The city living one wouldn’t download, but now i logged in and it said if i save my game it will all delete. Since its happening for other im assuming/hoping its just a bug with the pack but idk 💔💔

Yes! I’m having this exact problem. Been trying now for 3 hours to get it fixed. I’ve cleared my caches, I’ve installed all my adds again. I can’t click on that one but it’s on my in game just not on the PS network.

I’m playing the game on PlayStation 5 and I’ve run into a problem with the Island Living expansion pack. I had it installed and everything was working fine until last night. But today, when I launched the game, the pack seems to be uninstalled.
It shows the message: “You already own this pack, download to use it”, but there’s no option to actually download or reinstall it. I’ve checked the PlayStation Store and my library, and it still shows that I own the pack — but I can’t access it in the game.
I’ve already tried restarting both the game and the console, but the issue persists. Has anyone experienced something similar on PS5? Any ideas on how to fix this?Thanks in advance for any help!
