Loading screen issues

I wouldn't say that any of the loading screens are instant. Though 5 minutes to travel seems excessive. When I initially load into a household it can sometimes take 5+ minutes, but once I'm playing, when I travel it's usually not much more than a minute or two on either side of the world map.

Is it hanging just loading the map (you click travel, times pauses, and that's as far as you get) or after you pick your destination (you click travel, go to the map, pick a lot, and then sit on the loading screen for that lot)?

Have you ever tried rebuilding the database on the PS4? It's possible that data is spread all over the hard drive and the system is having trouble locating it. It might be worth a shot.

Power off the PS4 completely (not low power mode). Then press and hold the power button on the console until you hear a second beep; there's one when you first press it, then another about five seconds later if you keep holding down the button. After that release the button, and connect your controller with the USB cable. Press the PS button on the controller to turn it on, and when a menu appears on screen choose the Rebuild Database option.

It could take a while to complete, but in my experience I've only seen it take about 10 minutes at the longest. Even if this doesn't help your current TS4 issue, it should make the PS4 a little snappier if it's never been done.

What happens when the bug occurs? you get stuck in the loading screen for a really long time, sometimes up to 30mins
What do you expect to see? i expect it to load in less than a minute or two, but it is taking far too long

It often happens when i am loading back to my original lot, the top right 50x50 from the park. it keeps loading and it is getting frustrating. one time it took so long i had to reload the game and lost my progress 

My game is simply taking to long to do anything even loading screen is taking long i have 34 packs and im playing on PlayStation and now im really angry because i feel i waste my money and my time waiting for my game to do one simple thing i like the game but they need to fix the fact that the game is taking TOOO LONG FOR ANYTHING TO BE DONE i really want to continue my game without waiting for my sims to have one long loading for a conversation and the worst part the game time go on while they load PLEASE FIX THIS.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When playing the game, have a sim travel out or travel home.
What happens when the bug occurs? The load screen with the plumbob will appear without the load bar and spin for several minutes. Seeeeeevvvveeerrraaaallll minutes. Then eventually, the load bar will appear and the game will resume as normal.
What do you expect to see? I didn’t have this problem until I downloaded For Rent. Series S usually gives me fast load times and I expect to see that.
