My sim is still an empty void

The texture on my sims and some of my pets are completely gone, all of my sims who have a custom skin is now completely black. I was hoping that there was a lot of people with the same problem so it can be included in the patch update before the new expansion came out. Now I am just disappointed that there isn't a lot of people who have this issue, so it can't get fixed as soon as possible.
