I'm now experiencing these same issues as of today. I've restarted my Xbox, cleared sims 4 cache, and still - every time I log in, it says I'm offline. The 2 times I got in in the first hour, it said my vampire pack was not installed and removed the items from my build. Now, whenever I make it past the loading screen, I'm greeted by this message. I was able to play fine yesterday, so I have no idea why this issue is occurring now when I've changed nothing.

I have the same issue, none of the solutions you provided work and god forbid the website is user friendly to open a ticket or contact EA! I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on this game and can’t access EA online!

EA_Solaire I don't own a console, I use Xbox cloud gaming on Google Chrome browser on a Samsung Galaxy tablet. So what you might say is that I'm out of luck.

- Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Delete your Sims 4 save files (Note! Please save your households/lots to your online Gallery before doing this step or you will permanently lose your families/builds)

- In the menu on the left side of the screen, scroll down to Saved data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.
- You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:
- Delete everywhere removes your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on. You do not want to sync the Autosave from the cloud, you want the game to make a new one.

The gallery doesn’t work either. It hasn’t worked for a while, like basically really hard for me to build in the game. It always disconnects for no reason.

- It won’t load. It takes 5 times for the game to actually start. I get a “For some reason The Sims 4 took too long to start (.0x8027025a).
- When it does start it will crash during the loading screen before I even enter the game.
- When I finally get to the main menu my ea account isn’t linked and I’m offline even though my Xbox is online. It will take 3 tries for my ea account to finally be linked.
- Overally the Sims 4 on Xbox series X doesn’t work how it used to. I used to easily be able to open my game and play and now it’s very difficult to do so.

Hi,
Every time I open my Sims 4 on the Xbox it runs an error code 0x8027025a and says: For some reason the Sims 4 has taken too long to start. I have tried different reboots and uninstalling other games to free up space but it still doesn't work. Has anyone else had this and knows how to start the game without losing saved data etc?

EA_Solaire here's my screenshot. This is the screen I can't get past, ever since the June 30th base game update. Hope this helps.

I also have the same issue, and I use Xbox cloud gaming on the Google Chrome browser. Ever since the update the game was unplayable after two days.
