Game acting as if new
I keep loading my game on my older Xbox One S and it keeps loading as if it's new, I have to restart the game to get my saves and even the shop to load. I reinstalled ALL packs I own plus Base Game and started it up AFTER shutting down my Xbox for half an hour. The game already takes minutes to load on my Xbox and now I have to double load it in order to even play it. It also resets all my personalized settings like adding the button mapping and help tips I've turned off I have to turn them off every time I load the game. This last time it crashed before I could reload it after it loaded as if I've never played it and I've had it installed since it was put on EA Play for free years ago.
Sims 4 will not Sync
Hey! So I've tried fixing this for the last day or so. Every time I open my Sims 4 it won't sync! I've check my network connection (I download at 100mb/s so I think I'm good there) it'll either not sync at all and close the game, or show a progress bar with 0% and possibly reset (?) my whole console. I'm on Xbox one, I've tried clearing my local cache, cycling my console, resetting my console, adding and re-adding my profile, uninstalling and reinstalling, and unplugging it for 40+ minutes. Not sure what to do now! I've got over 90mb of sims data that I do not want to lose. Not sure at all what to do atp
Sims 4 Xbox One update/no ui/ saves disappeared
So here’s the full story. I think my sims updated a couple of days ago/maybe a week. I bought the Growing Together pack and noticed it was giving me issues loading the game where the items that come with the pack weren’t loading in. I got that issue resolved. But then these past few days the game has been giving me more and more issues opening. So I would click it on my Xbox and it would say “the Sims took too long to open” and would bring me back to my Xbox Home Screen. I didn’t think anything of it because after a lot of patience and restarting the Xbox it would eventually load. THEN all day yesterday it started giving me me issues where when I got out of build mode the ui would disappear and when I went back to the main menu it would just be a white screen but you could hear things in the background and again with a lot of patience, quitting the game, and restarting it it would work. And now TODAY I loaded my game up, again gave me issues opening, and when it finally opened the EA agreement thing popped up, made me adjust the screen (which I thought was weird) and the. bam! Game loaded up and all my save files are gone. Anyone having the same issue? I’m so upset and wanted to share my story in case anyone else is going through the same thing. I don’t know if there was a bug with the update but this sucks. I just spent 2 game sessions building my families dream home that they finally earned. 😩😭
Best Practices for Photos Xbox?
I have had a couple of instances in the past where the photos (and paint from reference pictures) that I take all turn black. Once it was associated with an Error Code 0 and destoryed my save file, but another time it didn't. Does anybody know what the "best practice" for handling the photos is so that this never happens again? Or where, exactly, the files go on an Xbox when I take a photo? Why would the photos turn black, and is there anything I can do to prevent it? I see that the Life and Death pack relies a lot on photos so I'm a little apprehensive about what might happen.
My sims 4 won't start
So my sims 4 on my xbox one console won't allow me to enter the game since the update. No matter what I do the game won't register when I press the A button to start. I have tried literally everything. Things I have already tried multiple times would include: Resetting the game, resetting the console, resetting the controller, hard resetting the console, troubleshooting the Xbox one (no errors appeared and said all was fine with the Xbox multiple times) Therefore this is definitely a bug with the game, I spent years playing this game and I love it. So it absolutely breaks my heart when I can't even get the game to open to play the event. Since I am on an Xbox one console I can't use the same troubleshooting as a PC player. Please look at this issue and see if you can find a solution for it as it has rendered my game completely unplayable.
UI not working in game
For about 2 months now my game doesn't work, I can load into any saved and even create new ones but when I get into the game I can't click on the character and none of the ui works, the time doesn't change, I can't speed up the time, use and of the tabs like the 'needs' nothing seams to be working. I've uninstalled the game and redownloaded it, restarted my xbox but nothing resolves the issue, the game is unplayable.Get to work not working
OK I've had a lot of bugs with the sims 4 recently to the point where I've had to reinstall the whole thing twice but now it's saying that the get to work isn't loading, I've tried creating a new world and it's not working in that one either. I've reinstalled the pack more times than you could imagine. I even bought the the pack to make sure that I definitely owned it. Nothing is working and now my entire game is ruined just because a pack refuses to work. The worst part is that I can't download a mod to fix it because I'm on console so stuck with what I've got. If they're are any suggestions on what I can do to fix it other than the default 'turn it off and on again' approach it would be very much appreciated
Xbox Game Pass User For The Sims 4
I'm an Xbox Game Pass user and I recently purchased the For Rent pack and just today the world it came with the screen goes white and the game is unplayable until I reboot my game pass app. And the world is inaccessible. Every other world is fine just that one I click on and it goes blank. It used to be fine until I started building apartment buildings. I don't know if I broke the game or if there's a bug but I'd appreciate if anyone else has this issue or knows what's going on. Thanks.
Ps5 not connecting to the EA Network or the internet
Loged on today excited to do the reaper rewards but the game keeps saying I am not connected to the internet my PlayStation says I am connected my internet is fine I double checked I'm very confused about what is happening there is no update I do not see any maintenance notice is anyone else having this problemGame failed and other issues
I just bought the “Eco Lifestyle” on Saturday Sept. 21, 2024 for Xbox and ever since I’ve purchased it I’ve been having problems with my game play. On Saturday it worked fine and then on Sunday this is when I started having problems. It wouldn’t allow my sims to travel back home after I took them to the restaurant for the free food at the restaurant holiday thing. It was stuck on the blue loading page for hours. My sims couldn’t go on a date at a restaurant because it wouldn’t allow them to reserve a table. Evict them and delete their old house and give them a different house next door, then when I loaded them to the new home it wouldn’t allow me to delete anything while in build mode. I also have a llama that’s stuck in the family inventory that I can’t assign to a shed. Monday it worked fine and now tonight it said about three times to reload the game because there’s an error with game play or something like that and again it’s stuck on that blue loading page. There’s plenty of room on my husband’s xbox and there’s no updates needed on the game. It sounds like there are major bugs associated with the “Eco Lifestyle”. Has anyone else experienced the same thing on there Xbox?
