PS5 saving issues
It’s been over a month where I have not been able to play the game because the game won’t save after building. I have restarted, I have cleaned all saved files and started a new saved file and the same issue continues. I have also gotten the crash screen and have reported it along with screenshotsBusinesses and Hobbies interrupting Xbox gameplay
I recently downloaded the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack. Since then I have been constantly receiving Error Code: 0 everytime I try to save and if my Sims travel from their home, all their furniture has disappeared when they come back. I really don't want to uninstall the add-on as it cost me literally fourty dollars, but I can't even play the game like normal. I have 5 other expansion packs, 4 game packs, and 1 stuff pack and none of them had this problem. I also have the Businesses and Hobbies pre-order content. I don't know why it's doing this. Does anyone else have this issue?
Game won’t start
My game stopped working yesterday after saving and exiting the game. It gets to the beginning loading screen and then the game crashes. I have seen others with this problem in the last few hours so I know I’m not the only one. I’ve found that the Island Living expansion pack is no longer available on PS Plus and I think this is the issue as I had it downloaded there but nothing I do is working. I have restarted my ps4, cold booted my ps4 as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the game. If this is what happens with DLCs they should not make them available for only a limited time; it causes all sorts of issues with the game once it is taken away and now I have lost an entire household/build. Does anyone have a solution for this?Crash on Save
I am on PS4 and 3 out of every 4 times that I try to save my game it causes the game to crash. It doesn't seem to have an obvious cause. It can happen after hours of play or only minutes of play. It happens whether or not there is a festival/holiday/party in progress. It happens whether I am on a public lot or a private one. It is often accompanied by a "Adjusting your graphics settings" loading.screen, but not always. Saving is just a basic staple of playing a game. It is so embarrassing, dissapointimg, and absolutely infuriating that the game can't support its own saves without crashing. This game is more than a decade old - but has also been declared the central Sims game for the foreseeable feature... so how is a ridiculous issue like this allowed to happen- and then - allowed to continue, to drag on and on for days. What happened to "quick fixes" from the tech team? Why must we wait for a patch for everything? Also - patches/updates seemed to be weekly for a while there... then bi-weekly... now we seem to get an update once every two months or so. How can this be your spotlight game and yet none of you seem to give a crap about fixing it? It's a broken mess. It has always been a broken mess. And what makes it sad is that you have a legion of devoted players who sincerely love this game... and we just want it to function. This keeps happening to me any time I play. It’ll allow me to save once. And then after that it gives me the code. I have tried saving and then going to manage worlds and still nothing. Then, when I eventually quit the game and reload, I come back with no option to load up that save. It just gives me the option to make a new game. Starting to get frustrating as I just want to play 😭
