Odd glitchy loading

I play on ps4 and have all the packs- and now the new Royalty and Legacy with the kits that came bundled. I made a new household and built a castle and everything seemed fine until two hours in to playing in the new world. While loading actions like when a sim is changing task or opening the chat menues in another sim the whole game would flicker. Sims would look like they’re being rewound for a second and then let play for a second over and over while the chat menu would flicker on and off screen. It would do this for 7 plus minutes before registering and playing smoothly for another thirty minutes or so.

    Hey there SmolPastelDemon​ 

    Are you playing in a very large lot with lots of build/buy items? Try downsizing to a smaller lot to see if this still happens.

    If that doesn't help, try the following:

    Turn off Your system completely, let it sit for a few minutes and power it back on.

    Check that your game is fully updated:

    • Go to the PlayStation home screen. 
    • Highlight the game you're playing and press the Options button on your controller.
    • Select "Check For Update" and install any updates that are available.
    • Restart the Console completely.

    Make sure your console system software is up to date. 

    • Select Settings at the top of the PlayStation home screen.
    • Choose "System Software Update" and allow any system updates to install.
    • Reboot your PlayStation.

    Uninstall and Reinstall the game:

    • Go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Delete.
    • Select a game or application.
    • Set check marks beside the data you wish to delete or Select All.
    • Select Delete > then OK to confirm your decision.
