Pet Does Not Appear in World

since the most recent update, my sim household dog will not appear anywhere in the world. They don’t come when called and are not locatable when the profile is selected. I’ve tried reloading the lot, saving and exiting the game, and going into CAS. Nothing seems to override the bug.
