Pre-owned game still has previous owner's EA account

Bought Sims 4 pre-owned and started playing only to later realize that the previous owner's EA account is still linked to the game, therefore I can't link my EA account. I also keep getting the "credentials have expired" message too for the previous owner's account. Is there ANY way to remove their account or have I dinged myself over and will just have to buy a new sims 4 to link my EA account to?

The problem is that it's not MY ea account email, it's the PREVIOUS owner's account email. The game is pre-owned and they didn't remove the game from their account and I only realized that after I started playing so now my PSN is connected to THEIR email for THEIR ea account, which seems to be disabled. And because I have no info or anything about the previous owner's account, support wasn't much help.
