Problem with my game

Sadly, I am unable to play one of my Sims characters on Chestnut Ridge or go onto there lot to finish decorating it. It has been like this for a few days, and I have no clue what to do. I’ve relaunched the game a few times and tried uninstalling the game to see if that works.
