PS4 Sims 4 not able to play without internet.

Question

&nbsp; &nbsp;I am playing Sims 4 on PS4. I have been playing Sims 4 on PS4 for a few years now, and was able to play offline and online without any problem, but now I cannot play offline. Sometimes my internet connection isn't that good, so now I start Sims 4 without internet and go through the intro and when I get to the screen that says "Press x To Start," and loading will start to get to the main menu, but it freezes on a quarter of the loading screen all the time. When my internet is good again, I am able to play Sims 4 again. Any tips on how to fix this or is it an update issue? This actually started on the previous update before the last update. Current update is version 1.82 English. I did not see any other postings about this for PS4, sorry if I missed it somewhere.

&nbsp; &nbsp;Thanks for the reply. No error or code messages. The game stays loading and does not go to main menu. However, I just got tired of fussing around with it, so I just moved on to another game for now.

Turning the network settings off on your PS4 while loading the game should resolve this for you and allow you to get to the main menu. If you'd like to try this, you can turn off your network settings from your PS4's main menu by heading into Settings-&gt; Network and uncheck the box here for Connect to the Internet.&nbsp;

That is the issue, like I mentioned in the beginning of the post. When I have no internet connection, I cannot play Sims4. When the weather is bad, my internet goes out for a while, and that is when I cannot play the game without internet. Also, that setting is always off because I had it like that for a few years now.&nbsp;&nbsp;Settings-&gt; Network&nbsp;and uncheck the box here for&nbsp;Connect to the Internet. I had this unchecked for years. This why I am saying the game is not playable without internet. Thank you for the reply.
