greetings !
WHY IS NO VOTING FOR THIS PROBLEM. ?!?!!
Startet a fresh game on xbox-one ... and it didn't last long ... this " automatically graphic-settings adjustment " shows up !
After the first forced graphic-adjustment you can notice the texture of walls blur - just a little.
After the second forced graphic-adjustment the blur effect gets stronger and includes other objects .
After the third ... the wall texture and all other objects are incredible blured ! , and so on ... till the visually appearance of sims 4 is no longer to be endured !!!
Why isn't Maxis pay attantion to this problem ??
.... Well ... I guess nobody read this anyway ... right ?!
So i had to find a solution on my own : I have several savings , and when the game suddenly decide to adjust the graphic-settings, i load the uncorrupted one ... and can go on -> that works . ( you have to save often anyway, for example because of this "suprise-suprise"-game-crashings ...)
Play well.

xxKlotopiaxx there's no upvoting as that's only for bug reports. This was identified as a technical issue on console rather than a bug. Luckily it's not corrupting your saves, it's just the graphics adjusting on Xbox one. It should only do this once and then allow you to keep playing without further interruptions.
I haven't had this since upgrading to Xbox Series X. But on my previous console I changed a setting in my Xbox options if you want to give it a try. You can change it back if it doesn't help. From your Xbox home screen go to Settings>tv & display options>device control>HDMI/CEC ✓
This setting allows HDMI Consumer Electronics Control to (CEC) to control your display or AV receivers.
See if that makes a difference for you, hope it helps.

Thanks for your comment
I tried to follow your path, but my TV is older than 20 years and i am not able to find this HDMI/CEC ... (although my TV has HDMI)
Shame on me - i don't even know which kind of xbox -one i own ...
So - WHY was i able to play sims 4 in the ' first years ' and SUDDENLY i get permanently automatic graphic adjustments ?! ( i didn 't change a thing ! - !! there were only new dlc's & updates ... ?! )
And - yes , i would not have a problem with it, IF it would happen just one time ! As i already wrote : I am playing and it happens again & again ... till the texture is "blurred to death" !
friendly greetings

xxKlotopiaxx sorry, the setting is on the Xbox not your TV. It stops the Xbox controlling your TV display. So on your Xbox go to Settings on the homescreen/dashboard. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide then go to Settings to see if you have it on your Xbox. This option has been in the Settings on my last few models of Xbox. I'm attaching the guide from Xbox Support for you below. It may or may not work but it did work for me. I wonder if the age of the TV that you mentioned might also be causing an issue but I couldn't say for sure.
We also reported the graphics blurring after the graphics adjustment on our old reporting system on Answers HQ before transferring to this newer forum, so they have been made aware of it.
