Why does this keep happening in the middle of my gameplay… the sims 4 would stop my whole game for the past two weeks “adjusting graphics” when the graphics are clear and the game was running fine; then it continues to freeze my WHOLE GAME ! Where I have to exit out the game to restart the app all over again without me being able to actually save my game and start where I left off. It’s frustrating…
Used to get this all the time with my photographer save on my PlayStation 4 the more photos I displayed on the walls the more I got the adjusting graphics notice pop up, general clutter in her house used to ping it too, the more clutter the more I saw that message, for me it also had something to do with plants from granite falls being grown on her home lot and she had almost all the collectibles from worlds on display - the snow globes from San Myshuno, the shells from Sulani, things she's picked up on her travels in her spaceship etc. Think it's got something to do with the overall amount out of stuff on your home lot. I also gave my whole save a clean out (getting rid of a lot of fridge items/ingredients, things in the household and personal inventory and storage boxes, removed a lot of photos, plants, clutter and collectibles, deleting random townies etc) and I've not had the adjusting graphics message pop up in any saves since I've applied the 'less stuff' rule to all my recent saves, it took some figuring out to find out exactly what was causing the adjusting graphics in my save so I just kept removing things until I saw that message less and less and then not at all.
