Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? EP05:1.assets.live-ep05.134
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except for Luxury Party Stuff, Realm of Magic & Journey to Batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play gameplay. I have found there is no specific trigger after running through multiple save games / game play options.
What happens when the bug occurs? During usual gameplay game freezes, crashes and error code (CE-34878-0) pops up. I am then asked to close the game
What do you expect to see? I expect to play my game without it crashing
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Latest patch, installed today 10th November at 18:40, finished by 19:00 first glitch occurred at 19:08

    Same for me. Installed the latest update and the game crashed twice during normal gameplay. No specific trigger. Game crashed twice in an hour. Please fix this

    Mine just crashed after loading my game on PS4 in build mode. They should test the updates thoroughly before sending them out to everyone.

    This is an issue they need to fix fast, it’s happening on all platforms. In 3 days they have their last expansion pack coming out, if this isn’t a fixed issue I don’t see a lot of people purchasing something they can not play. 😠

    I have EVERY pack, and I have literally uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game THREE times today on my PS4. (Also, I have played this game with my saved files and without, yet I still get CE-34878-0 on my screen). I have NEVER had this issue with the Sims 4 until I downloaded the new Version 1.33. I even tried playing the Sims 4 w/out the newest update (of course, I knew I wouldn’t be able to play but I had to try anything). This is ridiculous, I am not getting assistance from any forum or chat to find what else I can do. It’s on live or build mode, it’s so random when my PS4 crashes.

    Same here my game crashed like 3 times a hour I have to constantly make sure that I saved so I don't lose anything started happening right after the November update I paid alot of money for these games and it shouldn't be crashing so much to where it's completely unplayable I'm pissed especially with the new pack for the game I was looking forward to it...I really wish that they would ACTUALLY FIX THE GAME INSTEAD OF MAKING NEW GAME PACKS

    Problema di blocco universale a causa dell'ultimo aggiornamento. Intero gioco inutilizzabile. Grave ed inaccettabile Risolvete in fretta o ridatemi i soldi.

    Just installed snowy escape that i had pre ordered. The crashing continues even with the new DLC.

    @PoptartJuniper Not sure how a save can help here, as there is no pattern or action that triggers the crash. Muting sounds does not help. The same save can crash either immediately or after 30 mins.

    As for me, I am loading for the 4 time the same game. As it starts, I get the toddler to potty and bed, adults to the shower and bed amd teen to take out the trash and to bed. It crashed either immediately OR after one in game day.

    So a save doesnt really help as it just crashes. For everyone. With different DLCs installed. On new games and old games.

    @lostinmalloc The QA team is just requesting saves. I am sure everyone they receive is helpful.

    @reshalyles This is a crash collection post, not a discussion thread. Feel free to open a new discussion post in the General Discussion board if you wish to chat about the crashing that is not troubleshooting or providing saves. This will make it easier to find those who are providing saves in the chat and for others to see posts that are relevant for finding information.

    @PoptartJuniper I shared my save with Robo with a private message, including step by step for all members. I can share that with you too. It crashes within a minute it steps are followed to the letter. It does even with master volume set to zero.

    @PoptartJuniper well since I can't DM Gurus on Twitter, I have sent you a link to the save and step by step actions for all family members. Crashes within a minute.

    Let me know in case you guys have probs with the link.

    ...in the meantime, I'll try changing those actions to see if I can go beyond one minute of play.
