Community ManagerIf your game is crashing using your cloud saves as well, it sounds like these save files unfortunately have become corrupted. In that case, we aren't able to restore these files for you, you'd need to delete the cloud saves as well and start a brand new save file.
Dude… do you know how bad that would suck!! I’ve been playing this game for years and to have all that lost… how would I know for sure if that’s what is happening? And how does a file get corrupted so that I can avoid that in the future?
Community ManagerIf the crashing is happening even on a different console from your cloud saves, that tells us the save files are most likely corrupt. Corrupted save files can occur as a result of a connectivity issue or power loss when the game save file is being created or synced with the cloud. This can also happen if the console is powered down while still in the process of saving.
In the future to prevent this, I always recommend waiting a minute or two to close the game and power off your console after you've saved so the game has sufficient time to complete the save to the cloud. In addition, if you have a large number of save files, you may have reached the capacity limit for cloud saves. Try reducing the number of save files to be sure no other saves become corrupt.
