Let's try the following steps to get this error cleared up:

1. First please try a full power-cycle on your Xbox:
   • Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
   • Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
     Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   • Plug the console power cable back in.
   • Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
2. Check that your disk is clean and free of any scratches or smudges/dirt 
   
   
3. Install The Sims 4 from the Xbox Store with the disk loaded
   • Insert the disc into your Xbox console.
   • Open the Store app and search for The Sims 4.
   • Select Install. This will install The Sims from the network instead of the disc.
4. Check that your Xbox has enough storage space for this update- you can manage and check your storage with the steps here.
