Roof glitch

Everytime I try to place a roof or edit pre existing roofs it says there is an error and doesn’t place it or change the size of other roofs. And then sometimes if I log onto the game later the roof has placed itself where I previously put it but I still can’t edit it. It’s very irritating as it makes building almost impossible- please get this fixed quickly!
