Scoring Simoleons Glitching

I just hopped on my game after being away for a few days and the Scoring Simoleons Discovery quest popped up. It keeps giving me $400 simoleons every few seconds and when I click it away it comes back. I have tried disabling discovery quests and then restarting my game but it did not work. please help me!
