Blast From The Past Week 2 Crash

Noticed other posts on this topic, just making my own so it's known another player is struggling with it. I completed the Week 2 quests for the event and then left save open and walked away without saving, when I got back I just had a white screen, couldn't fix it and had to force stop my game. I opened it back up and got the white screen again at start up, repaired my game and it ran fine, but it saved my event progress so I've claimed my rewards,  and completed my quests, but don't have the quest items or reward milk cartons. I've tried deleting my accountDBdata package with no luck, checked from a different save, no luck. Really hoping someone can figure out a fix for this because I really want to participate in week 3.
