Sims 4 - Can't Place Stairs or Doors

Hey guys!

I've been having trouble in build mode, and I can't seem to place doors or stairs. All I get is "script call failed". I've tried repairing the game, and tried Sims 4 Studio, but nothing works. Doors and stairs are a crucial part of the game so could anyone help me? :/

Edit: I went on an earlier save, and I could place doors? But just one save I couldn't place doors or stairs..?
