Sims 4 Game wont work on console without EA play renewal

I’ve worked with XBOX support on this problem & it made me realize this is an EA issue. I can’t open my sims game, it tells me I need to renew my EA play subscription when i try. I’ve reset all the things with XBOX support so that solution is out the window. What is going on???? Please help.
