Sims 4 PS4 Won’t allow me to create character

This sounds like what I experienced last night. Spent 4+ hours on a Sim and when I went to do her Formal outfit, the UI disappeared except for the "filter options" on outfits would pop up wherever I would click. I ended up having to close the game because it wouldn't let me give her an aspiration to save her to my library.
Been waiting on this game for awhile and it’s finally here and it doesn’t work at all. Any solutions ?
- The UI keeps disappearing when I try and create my family. I can make the first character just fine but I cannot make my second member because the cursor never selects features for the character and eventually the UI disappears. Any help would be appreciated, I haven’t been able to play my $60 game yet and BestBuy won’t return it.
There's something you could try until they fix this issue, though if you're making big families, it'll take some time. What you can do is make each Sim individually, save them to your Library, then when they're all done, go back into Create A Sim and Merge them all into one household. You'll still be able to edit their relationships this way, so you can still set them as being family. Then save the big household to your Library so you don't lose them.
it was completely unprofessional of them to dismiss my thread about the game crashing in basements. I'm sorry you can't return. Neither can I, I bought it on the PS store with the bundle and PlayStation isn't accepting to return the game. Someone didn't do QA which is standard in the industry.
