Sims Freeze 2 minutes into the game (Xbox)

Every time I log into the game, it completely freezes after about two minutes. All of the Sims just stand in place, and the entire simulation stops. I have to power off my system and restart the game every time. This is the most unplayable experience I’ve ever had with this game. — I literally cannot play. Is a fix currently in the works?
