Sims Have No Household After Moving

I had my family in the Goth lot, and decided to move in with Vlad in Forgotten Hollows through him directly with the move in option. I moved my sims to his side of the move in panel and was informed some sims were still at work, and I should select "move in later". I did so and was immediately shown the manage world screen and vlads castle now buyable and was asked to create new sims to move in there. Now my family and Vlad are no were to be seen on the manage worlds and in the load menu it states there household is just blank. If this isn't some kind of bug and is just foolishness on my part I apologise, but if anyone has an answer it'd be much appreciated.

    Go to manage worlds and find the manage households in the top right of the screen, now you can see your households that are in the world and not in the world. It will say under their names if they are in the world. If this doesn't work then invite the sims you want to move in over, and use a cheat to either add them into your household or invite them to move in.
