Sims skin tone bug
While I was Managing my households I noticed some of my sims and pets skin tones were turned pitch black. What's up with that?

I've had similar issues. from my findings online, it seems that the game is registering the skin as broken or missing. I am usually able to fix the sims by changing the hue point by 1 in CAS, either slightly lighter or darker. I am not sure about pets, though.
I’m having the same issue as well. Don’t know how to fix it. I play on console so there are NO MODS in My game. I tried changing the hue or resetting my game, and restarting my game and nothing seems to fix it. Also random side note it takes like 30 minutes to 2 hrs just for me to load in this game. I have everything out currently except for the restoration kit. I was not having any issues until the patch that came out today July 1st 2025. What it looks like to me, the ones that are messed had custom tattoos from the gallery or tattoos that were custom drawn.
