Hi there @7217518 can you check your game and console are both up to date. There was a recent bug fix for the animation problems. Instructions to check for updates are in the troubleshooting steps attached in my earlier reply
I'm attaching my game version number to show you what the latest one looks like. My game updated again a couple of days ago.
If your game is up to date and still not working correctly, is it one particular Sim or all of them and did you create them yourself or were they from the Gallery? Can you switch to a few different households to test them too, perhaps a base game household like the Goths for example? You can also try moving your Sims out of their house and back again using Manage Worlds. Try placing them on any lot, (sell their furniture behind to make it easier) and then move them back again. Try creating a new household too and test on a new Sim to see how widespread the problem is.
Edit: You can reset the Sim with cheats if you use them. Many console players don't use them as some disable console achievements. But one cheat that doesn't disable console achievements is the move objects cheat. You can open the cheat menu by holding down the bumpers and triggers (LB, RB, LT, RT) together on the front of your controller then type bb.moveobjects on and use it to place a piece of furniture on the frozen Sim in build mode. When you exit build mode the Sim will move.
There is also the cheat to Reset Sim but that will disable console achievements as it requires testingcheats true to be typed in first. Any cheats that use that command will disable console achievements.
